Big Bale Company South Ltd can supply the full range of the Massey Ferguson 2200 series high capacity, large rectangular balers, including the 2270XD and the 2370 Ultra HD baler which both produces a  bale size of 1.20 x 0.90.

Making a good design better, all the 2200 series balers share the same design and where ever possible the same components. An integral hydraulic system controls the density and knotter blowers. Selectable ejectors, roller chutes and knotter blowers are all fitted as standard.

All balers benefit from high plunger speeds for increased capacity, the 2270XD and 2290 have longer bale chambers to further improve the bale shape and come with larger tandem axles as standard to accept the wider tyre option, if required.

The MF 2250 is similar, but produces a larger bale of 0.80M wide x 0.90M high.

As well as the features above, the MF 2260 and 2270 produce extra density bales, ideal for transporting, with bale sizes of  1.20M wide x 0.70M high and 1.20M wide x 0.90M high respectively.

The MF 2270XD produces a bale of 1.20M wide x 0.90M high. The whole machine has been designed to produce extra density bales with a different gearbox, increased flywheel mass, larger diameter density cylinders, extra chamber tensioning throughout and increased bale chamber length.

The MF 2370 Ultra HD baler produces a bale of 1.20M wide x 0.90M high, is a completely new design and aims to pack up to 20% more material into the bale, clearing fields quicker and cutting transport and storage costs.  

The MF 2240 produces a bale of 0.80M wide x 0.70M high. This machine can bale silage, hay and straw and is widely used by contractors. The density control is automatic and simply controlled by a computer in the tractor cab to give consistent high quality bales. Selectable bale ejector, roller chute, hydraulic knotter blower all fitted as standard as are automatic knotter and main drive chain lubrication. Available with crop cutter and as single or tandem axle.

Finally, The MF 2290 produces a bale of 1.20M wide x 1.27M high. Still the only choice for a baler that produces a "half tonne" bale for industrial applications. This machine can bale hay and straw and now has a lengthened bale chamber to further improve the bale shape.
